Food and other household items are available from Leighton Linslade Community Food Bank.

Please be aware that Trinity Methodist Church is NOT a collection point for the food bank. Please take your donations directly to the Leighton Linslade Homeless Service.

Items needed on a regular basis are:

Puddings: custard, rice pudding, macaroni, fruit, pies, jellies etc.
Meat products: tinned meatballs, tuna, pilchards, sardines, stews, meat sauces, beans & sausages, macaroni cheese, ravioli, hot dogs etc.
Vegetables: all kinds of tinned vegetables, potatoes, peas, carrots, tomatoes, green beans etc.
Specialist foods for people with a low fat or sugar free diet, with intolerances to wheat, dairy products.
Drinks: tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, squash, sugar, long life milk/fruit juices, salt and pepper (small) sauces, gravy powder etc.
Others: pasta, rice, biscuits, cereal, pasta sauces etc.
Household/toiletries collections (no opened/part used items)
Washing up liquid, washing powder, cloths, polish, surface cleaners, toilet cleaners, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls etc.
Liquid soap, shampoo, shower gel, shaving foam, nappies, baby wipes, deodorant, bath foam etc.

Night Shelter                                                        

Emergency Night shelters are provided at The Black Horse. They are between the hours of 10pm and 8am. An evening meal is provided, bed and breakfast is offered before leaving.

Drop in Sessions

Monday             Salvation Army 11am - 2pm
Wednesday and Friday   The Black Horse 11 am - 2pm 

These provide access to the Food Bank and also general advice.
