Meet the team
Rev Seung-Wook Jung - Minister
I was accredited as an Assistant Pastor; it was like a probationer in the Methodist church, after graduating in Theology of Seoul Theological University, South Korea in 1994. I then came to the UK in 2000 and kept working in the same position in a few Korean churches.
I was ordained in 2008 from the Evangelical Holiness Church in Korea, one of the Wesleyan churches in South Korea. It took much more time than usual to be ordained after being accredited as an Assistant Pastor because I was in the UK.
I began to build up a Korean group in the Chessington Methodist church and it was the beginning of my ministry in the UK Methodist church. I finished the Faith and Worship London course and applied for R&R (recognized and regarded) Minister.
I was accepted as an R&R Minister and was appointed to the North Norfolk circuit in Norfolk in 2011.
During my time in the N.N circuit I was accepted as a minister of full connection in 2014 and worked in the same circuit for 3 more years. And now I am stationed in the South Bedfordshire circuit as my second appointment.
I came with my family: my wife Eunhee; my two daughters: Solee, Soyun, and my son Yunsang. And you can call me Seung-Wook and surname is Jung, not (Yung) as many people say.
Anne Gray - Senior Steward & Leadership Team
Anne works for the NHS in commissioning support services. She has been attending Trinity since moving to Leighton Buzzard in 1991. For a number of years she was Leader of the Scout Group based at Trinity but is currently a Steward. Her hobbies are singing and sewing.
Roger Owers - Leadership Team
Church Treasurer and member of the Trinity Leadership Team. I am also a Local preacher. I am a Parish Councillor in Heath and Reach. I regularly watch MK Dons and with my family attend other sports events. However, when I have free time I am most likely to be found in my garden.
Chris Lowe - Steward & Leadership Team
Having attended services at Trinity on a regular basis for nearly ten years, I was finally confirmed in 2018. I am a recently appointed steward and member of the Management team. I have been part of the team organising the Drop-In for Homeless people in Leighton Buzzard since its inception.
My hobbies include photography, quiz-setting, cats, cricket and Rugby Union. A Nottinghamshire CCC fan since I can remember picking up a bat, I am also a member of Middlesex! But as a Christian, what other Rugby Team could I follow apart from the great Northampton Saints?
Catherine Roots - Steward & Leadership Team
My name is Catherine Roots.
I have been a member at Trinity since 1978.
I have been involved in Scouting for over forty years and until recently was a Street Pastor.
I have held various roles at Trinity over the years including Catering Coordinator, Sunday School Superintendent and Letting Steward.
As well as church my other loves are cooking, gardening and my family.

I am on the organ rota, choir leader and safeguarding officer for the church as well as being a steward and member of the Leadership team. I am also a safeguarding trainer for the circuit. I am a qualified teacher working in this role for both education and social services then moved on to inspecting provisions for children under 8 years, including schools, nurseries and childminders.
Alison Arnold - Steward & Leadership Team
Jane Seaton - Leadership Team & Early Church Representative
I’m a worship leader and enjoy the privilege of helping people worship and hear God’s Word in ways that are exciting, challenging and sometimes alarming. I work in charity finance, enjoy my husband’s cooking, don’t mind doing the washing up, and like singing provided no one can hear me.
Tasha Williams - Messy Church Co-Ordinator and Church Administrator
I have been the Messy Church Co-ordinator since January 2016 and subsequently took on the role of Church Administrator. I am also involved in Early Church. I am wife to Ben (who formerly worked at Trinity) and Mummy to Phoebe-Grace and Miriam. I enjoy working with children and seeing them start to understand and begin to explore faith for themselves. I grew up in Clacton-on-sea, studied English Language and Communication Studies with Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church University before moving with Ben to Knutsford where I worked as a Care Assistant for MHA.
Karen Purton - Trinity Toddler Leader
I am the playgroup leader at Trinity. We meet on Tuesday mornings and on Friday mornings. At Playgroup I set up activities suitable for babies to rising fours to help them develop various skills and give them opportunity's to play alongside other children. It also provides a place for parents and careers to meet. I have a good team that help me prepare a healthy snack for the little ones (which I vary each week-) and hot drinks for the adults.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family and going on adventures with my little boy.
I am happy when engaged in any creative activity, visiting new places or sitting with a good book!
